Flake Ice Evaporator

Flake ice evaporator(flake ice drum), ice capacity 30 ton/day,  is the key part of flake ice machine, generally it includes flake ice drum, ice blade, reducer, main axle, upper & bottom bases, water dispenser, circulating water tank, circulating water pump and brine pump and electrical control system (single control the evaporator part).

The main features of the product are high heat transfer efficiency, high processing accuracy, and sufficient evaporation area.

Design and materials

The ice evaporator adopts a fixed static vertical design, which is the internal scraping ice making method. The spiral ice cutter runs counterclockwise on the inner wall, reducing wear and tear between the ice cutter and the evaporator inner wall. It has high sealing performance and effectively prevents refrigerant leakage. The evaporator is made of SUS304 stainless steel and adopts fully automatic argon arc welding technology. The ice blade is also made of SUS304 stainless steel, milling machine one-time forming, which is beautiful and elegant.

The standard voltage is 380V-3P-50HZ, and non-standard ice equipments can be manufactured for three-phase 60HZ, 200/220V, 400V, and 440V according to global customer requirements.

Fresh water type ice evaporator, the material of ice drum inner surface is chromed steel, outer surface is stainless steel SUS304, the base is aluminum alloy.
Seawater type ice evaporator, components contacting with water are all made of stainless steel SUS316.
Refrigerant type: Ammonia R717, Freon R22, R134a, R404A, R407C, R410A etc.
